THE WHY
The music model has changed and sales alone can’t cover production expenses. I’m trusting God for R80,000 to cover the basic costs to record these six songs (producer and studio fees, mixing, and mastering).

According to my parents, I started singing about Jesus coming back soon when I was only a few years old. As soon as I picked up a guitar at age ten, I used the first four chords I learned to start writing songs.
Songwriting is powerful. It shapes our understanding of God, and a core part of my calling is to craft lyrics and melodies that would lead the Church to encounters with Jesus.
Having written and released music for sixteen years with the ShofarBand team, I sense the Lord asking me to do so under my own name too.
These are songs that won’t be sung at church on Sundays, but themes that are still close to His heart:
Rejoicing in suffering.
Stewarding the purity of worship.
The throne room of Heaven.
The preeminence of Christ.
I believe God has given me six songs to record in February-April 2026 as an offering of love to Him and a blessing to His church.
