LEADERSHIP

Ricco and Jana Koen

Missionary Pastors

Ricco and Jana are a passionate, mission-minded couple serving in northern Mozambique. Since 2019, Ricco has been actively involved in regular mission trips to Mozambique while completing his theological studies and leading various ministries in his local church. Jana’s heart for missions ignited as soon as she came to faith, and even while working full-time as an accountant, she remained committed to serving others.

In 2025, Ricco and Jana assumed leadership of the Chandame Mission Station, where they now work side by side to advance God’s Kingdom. Ricco brings a strong foundation in theology and leadership, while Jana helps oversee the daily operations of the mission and manages the local clinic, providing vital care to the surrounding communities.

Together, they are dedicated to seeing lives transformed by the gospel. When in South Africa, Ricco enjoys fishing and diving in his downtime.

We are currently in need of a nurse practitioner (or similar) or a farm manager that wants to join Chandame for a time to serve and help with the projects on the base.
