Letsgo 2017: Strategic missions

By Este Franken

We have always been passionate about going to the nations and fulfilling the Great Commission. As you would have heard at Convergence, we are now migrating from cultural to apostolic space, specifically in our approach to missions.

Therefore, we are becoming more intentional, relational and focused on how and where we send mission teams for 2017. As a movement, we have enormous momentum and strength through the work of our mission teams to establish and strengthen our church plants as well as to serve our network and mission contacts in disciple-making and leadership development. Thank you to everyone who has served on a mission team since our ministry started in 1992.

With this exciting shift in mind, we have established strategic missions which focus solely on church planting. Whether it is a scout-intercession mission or the hosting of a ministry fellowship camp, these teams are sent to countries in order to establish whether the existing relationships will develop into a church plant.

If you would like to participate in one of the strategic missions below, please contact letsgo@shofaronline.org and also keep an eye on your local congregation’s announcements for missions in 2017.
